In Aug 2019, AutoX signed a partnership with the City of Shanghai to jointly launch the first commercial robotaxi fleet in China. In 2020, AutoX launch a fleet of RoboTaxi vehicles to the general public. Any customers could use the Alibaba Amap app to hail an AutoX self-driving RoboTaxi.
